Safety Position in the road is left of your lane a meter from the verge. This keeps you from the centre of the road and prevents collision with on coming vehicles. So many drivers drive close to centre line and indeed cross over in the the next lane, particularly in corners. Where road is narrow, reduce your speed and maintain your safety position in the road.
